Product: HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M283fdw

Powers on and off however during powering on or off, touch screen black- it seems to click and power light blinks 3 x. tried hard reset multiple times. It all happened during a scanning job, smart app notified me that there was a scan error then the screen blinked and went off. Please help.

Any chance you can still print to the device?  If yes, likely the control panel is bad. If you cannot print then likely the formatter has failed.

Hello,

Thank you for helping. No, it does not currently print, and the com does not even recognize its on. HP smart app can't even connect to diagnose.  sounds like it's a part failure. Is it worth fixing? What is the process?

I think I replied to my own post so i will reply here as well. 

It does not print and has no communication with the computer. The HP smart app reads printer offline and can't even diagnose.

IS it worth repairing and if so, what do you think it will cost and how do I go about it? Any information is helpful thank you so much for your time.
