@shimulcb, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding PDF Printing Issues on HP LaserJet P1102!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

If you're experiencing issues with printing PDF files on your HP LaserJet P1102, here are a few steps you can take to resolve the problem:

Check File Compatibility:

  • Ensure the PDF file is not corrupted and opens correctly on your computer.
  • Confirm that the file is not too large or password-protected, as these factors can sometimes prevent successful printing.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Make sure your printer drivers are up to date. You can download the latest drivers for your HP LaserJet P1102 from the HP Support website.

Adjust Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that the printer settings are configured correctly for PDF printing.
  • Open the printer properties and check any settings that might affect PDF printing, such as paper size and print quality.

Print a Test Page:

  • Print a Self Test/Device Configuration Page to check if the printer is functioning normally with other types of files. Follow the instructions based on your operating system:
    • Windows: Go to Printers and Scanners, select your printer, click on Printing Preferences, choose Config Page under Print Information Pages, and click Print.
    • Mac: Go to Print & Scan, select your printer, click Options & Supplies, then Utility, open the Printer Utility, check Print Information Pages, select Configuration Page, and click OK.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
