The printer tells me it's out of paper. I've reset it, cleaned all rollers but nothing seems to help. I removed the small paper tray to watch the feed rollers in action. The feed rollers are not working. They remain stationary throughout the cycle.

Hello @johnp44,
Welcome to the HP Forums.
This is a great location to get assistance!
I read your post and see that you are getting an error message "Out Of Paper".
I would like to help you resolve this issue.
An 'Out of paper' message displays on the control panel, and the printer does not pick up or feed paper.
The printer might make noises as though it is printing, but no paper moves through it.
Follow the below steps, will see how it goes.
-
Press the Power button (
) to turn on the product.
-
With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
-
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
-
Wait at least 15 seconds.
-
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
-
If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button (
) to turn it on.
If the issue persists click here for the further troubleshooting steps.
Keep me posted how it goes!
I hope this helps you to get the issue resolved.
If you feel I have answered your question and concerns, please mark this post as a solution.
