HP DeskJet 2755e All-in-One Printer

My printer reports an error every time I finish typing a sheet of paper, saying that the paper size is not set correctly, and I have checked that the settings are correct.I want to know how to fix it, is the printer broken?

And the information light on my printer, the exclamation point light, has been on since I bought it, but I see that no one else's is on.I want to know if this is right?

Printer and the software / application must both agree about Paper Size and Type.

After you (re)load the paper, use the Embedded Web Server (EWS) to check / modify the Tray and Paper setup.

Access to Tray and Paper is also available from within HP Smart.

Correcting the Tray and Paper settings might / should remove that exclamation icon from the printer display.

EWS > HP Document / How-to

Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

EWS – Browser – Tray and Paper Management

Open your favorite browser > type / enter Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper Management

Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type

Model Dependent:  Advanced section

Click Apply to save changes
