Welcome to HP Forums. This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

I understand that you are having difficulties connecting your Printer Wirelessly.

I'd like to help sort this out.

I suggest you start with a Printer Reset

(1) Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
(2) Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
(3) With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
(4) Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
(5) Wait at least 60 seconds.
(6) Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
(7) Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
(8) Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.
Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

Then uninstall the Printer Driver from Root Level and download the Full Feature Software

1.) In Windows, search for and open Programs and features
2.) Select your HP Printer
3.) Select Uninstall
4.) In Windows, search for and open Devices and printers
5.) In the Devices and Printers windows look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose ‘Delete’ or ‘Remove Device’
6.) Open up the run command with the “Windows key + R” key combo.
7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
11.) Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows
12.) Close Devices and Printers
13.) Restart the computer and download the Full Feature Software from Here and follow the onscreen Instructions

Note: Do not leave the USB cable connected. Only connect the USB cable when prompted during the installation.

Keep me posted and let me know if you need further assistance.

Thank you for your reply.

If the printer appears to e connected to the wireless network, then let us install the basic printer drivers from the Windows operating system.

Please refer to the steps mentioned in "Step 3: Install the print driver with the Add a Printer wizard" from this HP document: https://hp.care/2igKeU1

Hope this helps. Keep me posted.

Cheers! 🙂

I tried all that and it still won't print. It looks like it is ok in the printer and devices screen...i.e. doesn't say it's off line, but the print job just sit's in the "q" untill I delete it. getiing very frustrating.

It looks like you were interacting with MKazi and KrazyToad, but they are out for the day & I'll be glad to help you out.
I'm Raj1788 & I'm at your service.

Whenever a print job is sent to the printer a file is created in Windows. Sometimes these files become corrupt and cause problems. To properly reset your printing environment, delete these print job files manually.

  1. If you have any work open in the software you printing from, save your work. Your current print jobs will be lost and will need to be printed again later.
  2. Click on Start menu  to open search or press +S on your keyboard.
  3. Type services.msc in the search box and press the enter key

  4. Select Print Spooler from the services list.
  5. Click Restart the service or click the restart button.

If the issue persists, click on this link: http://hp.dezide.com/ts/start.jsp?guide=printjobstuckinqueue.net&as=true&sfs=sdoc&section=ccweb&lang... and follow the HP Guided troubleshooting steps.

This could help you to fix the issue.

Keep me posted, If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks for the reply.

Let's reset the printer

In some cases, removing the ink cartridges and resetting the printer can clear the error message.

  1. Turn on the printer.

  2. Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.

  3. Disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the printer. If your printer has a network or wireless connection, leave it connected.

  4. Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.

  5. With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet or power strip.

  6. Wait at least 60 seconds.

  7. Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.

       NOTE:

HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to a wall outlet.

  8. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.

  9. Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.

The printer might go through a warm-up period. The printer lights might flash, and the carriage might move.

  10. Wait until the warm-up period finishes and your printer is idle and silent before you proceed.

  11. Reinsert the ink cartridges, and then close the ink cartridge access door.

  12. If you receive a prompt to print a calibration page, do so.

  13. If you disconnected the USB cable, reconnect it to the rear of the printer.

  14. Try to print.
