Hello, @momride2 - Hope you are well 🙂
Thanks for your continued participation on the HP Forums! I’d like to help!
I understand that you are having issues while printing the poster on your Officejet printer. Going through the post, it looks like an issue with the printer drivers on your new PC. Is your new PC running on Windows 10? If so the drivers for the printer is unavailable since this is a very old model machine.
I would recommend you use the Windows built-in drivers to tackle this issue. Windows 10 OS comes with the built-in printer drivers. Simply turn on the printer and connect the USB cable from the printer to the PC. The drivers will be installed in 2-3 minutes. Go to Control panel - Devices and printers to check the printer entry and make it as default printer if needed.
Check http://hp.care/2nxKJv8 for additional instructions.
Those steps should do the trick, let me know the outcome!
Good luck 🙂
