HP OfficeJet Pro 8022 All-in-One Printer

I am annoyed! I had bought this printer because I needed to print when I am away from home, and for almost a year now, I can no longer print using my smartphone when I am away from home.
The only way is to email the ePrint address, but this is limiting because I can't decide on duplexing.
I have tried everything. The following are some of the things I have tried
- I reset the factory settings
- I reset my modem
- I took my printer to my office and configured it to a new wifi.
- I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
- I installed the app on another smartphone.
Nothing at all!
If I go into the HP Smart app the printer comes up as unavailable if I am away from home. It is available only my smartphone is connected to the same network as the printer.
How do I permanently delete the account on hp connect or permanently de-associate the printer from the hp connect account?
I find this unacceptable. and I hope someone can seriously help me.
