Hi @gaeycobi,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy Photo 7855 printer's print queue is deleting print jobs before they can be printed, there could be several reasons for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps to help you identify and resolve the problem:

Check the printer's connection: Ensure that the printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If it's a wireless printer, check if it's connected to the correct Wi-Fi network and has a stable connection.

Restart the printer and computer: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve communication issues between the printer and the computer.

Update printer drivers: Outdated or corrupt printer drivers can cause printing problems. Visit the official HP website and download the latest drivers for your HP Envy Photo 7855 printer.

Clear the print queue: Before attempting to print again, clear the existing print queue. Follow these steps.

  • On your computer, go to the "Devices and Printers" (Windows) or "Printers & Scanners" (Mac) section.
  • Find your HP Envy Photo 7855 printer and double-click on it to open the print queue.
  • Delete all pending print jobs by selecting them and clicking on "Cancel" or "Delete."

Test print from different applications: Try printing from different applications to see if the issue is specific to one program. If you can print from one application but not another, it might indicate a problem with that particular program.

Disable print spooling: On Windows, you can try disabling print spooling to see if it resolves the issue. Here's how:

  • Open "Devices and Printers."
  • Right-click on your printer and select "Printer properties."
  • Go to the "Advanced" tab and uncheck the option "Enable Spooling."

Check for software conflicts: Certain software or security applications can interfere with printing. Temporarily disable any firewall, antivirus, or security software and see if it resolves the issue.

Reset the printer: Resetting the printer to its default settings might help. Refer to the printer's manual or the HP support website for instructions on how to perform a reset.

Update firmware: Visit the HP website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. Updating the firmware can often resolve bugs and improve overall performance.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
