Hi @Deacon1109,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

When encountering printer error codes, it often indicates a problem that may be related to hardware, software, or connectivity issues. Here's a step-by-step guide to help resolve the error code 0x007c9c98 on your HP ENVY 4515 printer:

1. Restart the Printer

  • Turn off the printer using the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet and wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back into the outlet and turn the printer back on.

2. Check Network Connection

  • Ensure that your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
  • Restart the router and reconnect the printer to the network.

3. Reset the Printer

  • With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Reconnect the power cord and restart the printer.

4. Update Printer Firmware

  • Make sure your printer’s firmware is up to date. You can do this by visiting the Official HP® Support and searching for firmware updates for the HP ENVY 4515.

5. Check for Any Recent Changes

  • If you recently had a power outage, check if there are any issues with the power supply or if any settings might have been reset due to the outage.

    I hope this helps.

Take care and have an amazing day!
