Hi @lukaegi,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like your Samsung phone is encountering a certificate issue when trying to connect to your HP LaserJet Pro MFP printer. This issue can occur if there's a problem with the printer's security certificate or if there's a mismatch between the certificate on the printer and the one expected by your phone.

Here are some steps you can take to resolve this.

Check for Firmware Updates:

  • Ensure your HP LaserJet Pro MFP has the latest firmware. Go to the HP website, find your printer model, and download any available updates.

Check Printer's Security Settings:

  • Access the printer’s web interface by entering its IP address into a web browser. Check the security settings and look for any issues related to certificates or security.

Reinstall Printer on Phone:

  • Remove the printer from your phone's list of available printers and add it again. This can sometimes resolve certificate and connectivity issues.

Reset Printer to Factory Settings:

  • If the above steps don’t help, you might consider resetting the printer to its factory settings. Be sure to back up any necessary configurations before doing this.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
