I am getting a error message stating Incompatable cartridge. But I have never removed the cartridges from the last time I printed which was about 1 week ago. And these are the same ink cartridges I received from HP instaink. I have tried all of the troubleshooting steps but still am unable to clear error. Please advised.

Did you make any changes to your printer?

 

Have you tried checking with a different ink cartridge?

 

Does the issue persist when you put the old ink cartridge back to your printer?

 

Please share the printer model to assist you better.

 

Let's try few troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

 

Try updating the printer firmware to the latest version.

 

Refer this article to know more information about updating the printer firmware. Click Here

 

Replace low, empty or faulty ink cartridges on your printer.

 

Clean the cartridge contacts and check if it helps.

 

Make sure that the cartridges are inserted correctly

 

If the issue still persists after trying out the steps. Please share us few details through a private message so I can check the account details and ship you the replacement ink cartridges.

Have you tried checking with a different ink cartridge? No, I do not have any others because they are ship to me and the empty ones are returned. 

 

Does the issue persist when you put the old ink cartridge back to your printer? I do not have any other and these have not been changed.

 

Please share the printer model to assist you better. I have an HP Envy 5530
