Hello All,

 

Couple of  days back the print quality was not good so I bought new cartage and after I fixed it gives the below error-

printer error code 0x00829c98

I tried everything like taking off the plug from the back of the printer and the main switch wait for 60 s and then turn on.

Please  still the issue is not resolved.

 

Can someone help me with this and also it would be great if I can get some support over call from hp.

@AP1982, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

I understand you are not able to print due to this error. Kindly perform the steps mentioned in these documents to resolve this issue - '0xc19a0005' or Similar Error Code Displays and A 'Paper Jam' Error Displays

Check for any paper jams inside the printer and make sure the print carriage is moving freely.

 

Try making a standalone copy and check if that works. By this, we can conclude if this is a hardware or a driver issue.

 

If the issue persists, I'm afraid this is a hardware failure. Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

Hp Envy 5010 Printer.  My printer had not gone to sleep and was showing standard screen. It would not shut down so I moved the paper tray, then the error displayed. Then I cut off the mains power.  What does the error code mean?

There is no specific explanation for this error code. It indicates a hardware issue in the printer. if you have tried the steps mentioned in my previous post and the issue persists, the printer has to be serviced/replaced.
