@Marcos1974, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Power Cycle the Printer:
Turn off the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer and wait for at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back in and turn the printer back on.
Check for Paper Jams:
Open the printer’s paper tray and look for any paper stuck inside the printer.
Check both the front and back areas of the printer for any paper jams.
If you find paper stuck, gently pull it out without tearing it.
Reset the Printer to Default Settings:
On the printer's control panel, go to the menu settings and look for a “Restore Defaults” or “Reset” option. This can sometimes resolve internal issues by resetting the printer’s configurations.
Check the Printhead and Ink Cartridges:
Open the printer's ink cartridge access door.
Remove the ink cartridges and check for any signs of ink spillage, leaks, or physical damage to the cartridges or printhead.
If you find any issues, replace the ink cartridges or clean the printhead using a soft cloth.
Run HP Smart:
- Download and run the HP Smart. Follow the prompts to diagnose and fix common printing issues.
- Refer: Use Diagnose & Fix in HP Smart to repair common printing issues (Windows, macOS) | HP® Support
Update Printer Firmware (Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support)
- Go to the HP Customer Support - Software and Driver Downloads page. Enter your printer model number and search for the latest firmware update. Follow the instructions to download and install the firmware update.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
