@bubblesmouse, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to have to power cycle your printer every time you want to print. Here are some steps you can try to resolve this issue:
Update Printer Firmware: Ensure your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or the HP website.
Reset the Printer:
- Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
Check Connections: Make sure all cables are securely connected. If you're using a wireless connection, ensure your printer is connected to the correct Wi-Fi network.
Clear Print Queue: Sometimes, a stuck print job can cause issues. Clear the print queue on your computer:
- Go to the Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
- Right-click on your HP DeskJet 2755e and select "See what's printing."
- Cancel all documents.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:
>Please download HP print and scan doctor using this link: Official HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows | Free Download hppsdr.exe
>Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
>Once HP Print and Scan Doctor is open, click Start, and then choose your printer.
>If your printer is not listed, turn it on and click Retry.
>If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in the tool.
>Click Fix Printing
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
