printing error/failure

I know how frustrating it is when your HP printer shows a printing error or failure, especially when you need something urgently. Let’s troubleshoot this step by step:

Quick Fix Steps

  1. Restart Everything
    • Turn off the printer, unplug it for 60 seconds, then restart.
    • Restart your computer and router.
       
  2. Check Printer Status
    • Ensure the printer is online (not in “Use Printer Offline” mode).
    • On Windows: Control Panel → Devices and Printers → Right-click printer → See what’s printing → Uncheck “Use Printer Offline”.
       
  3. Clear Print Queue
    • Cancel all pending jobs and try printing again.
       
  4. Update Drivers & Firmware
  5. Run HP App
