Hi @Lucy246,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these trouble shooting steps:

Try a Different PDF Viewer

  • If you're opening the PDF in Chrome, try saving it first:
    • Click the Download button on the PDF viewer.
    • Open the file with Adobe Acrobat Reader (not Chrome).
    • Try printing again.

Print as Image (Adobe Acrobat)

  • Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Click File → Print.
  • Click Advanced → Print as Image.
  • Click OK, then print.

Check for Print Restrictions

  • Some bank statements have security restrictions that block direct printing.
  • Open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader.
  • Click File → Properties → Security.
  • If it says "Printing: Not Allowed", the bank has restricted it.

Try a Different Browser

  • Open the bank's website in Microsoft Edge or Firefox.
  • Try downloading and printing from there.

Print from a Different Device

  • If possible, transfer the PDF to a different computer and try printing.

Convert the PDF to an Image

If nothing else works, try this:

  • Open the PDF and take a screenshot (Windows: Win + Shift + S, Mac: Cmd + Shift + 4).
  • Paste it into Microsoft Word or Paint.
  • Resize it and print.

  • Right-click your printer and choose See what's printing.
  • Cancel all print jobs, then try again.

Check HP Printer Default Settings

  • Open Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your HP printer and choose Set as Default Printer.
  • Ensure it's not set to Offline Mode.

Reinstall the Printer

  • Remove the printer from Control Panel → Devices and Printers.
  • Reinstall the latest drivers from HP's official website.
