We got our brand new Hp officejet pro 7740 and a loud grinding type of noise has started.
The noise happens after its finished printing before going into sleep mode when not in use anymore.
Its very loud and almost sounds like something is going to break.
we want to fix ASAP.
Thanks

Hi @DanaH123,
I'd like to help!
I understand that the printer makes loud grinding noise after printing.
Try the below suggestions-
Reset the product
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
Turn the printer on. HP recommends plugging the printer directly into a wall outlet.
Try updating the printer's firmware -HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Also, check the printer for jams and broken parts -' Paper Jam' Error
If the issue persists, I'd suggest you contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your printer
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
