Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 All-in-One Printer

hp office jet pro 9018 -  Home printer,  seldom used.  In the past 3 years I had 2 of these .  1st one I returned for an exchange and that one also had a printer head gear broken.  Fixed second printer gear  and the new gear broke (3 gears in 3 years ).   Is there a  better fix  for this issue or should I  give up on my HP printer? Follow up to my other post on  printer head gear.   To replace the gear I followed this YouTube videohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wY1QD4VEtLg                                                                                                                                  Fist time The printer head was stuck to the right watch video on how to do, second time it was an error message paper jam.  Seems like gear failure may have multiple error code for gear failure.   Before anything else verify that your gear is not broken off or missing teeth by sliding printer head to the left exposing the gear.  I f the PH is stuck watch video.   Apply small amount of lubrication to gear.
