My printer keeps printing the same document over and over. Have cancelled printing many times but still continues to do this. I also cannot see how to get into the printing queue to remove the document. At one point it showed the print queue on the computer.
I tried to send another document to the printer yesterday and printer states that there are 2 documents in queue.
I have tried unplugging from mains and remoiving cables from the printer. Have left overnight but as soon as I fire up the printer again it starts to spew out therform. This has now happened 5 tiomes and the document was 25pages long.
The only other thing that I can think of doing is to remove the printer from my computer and rre-install
I am now at my wits end so if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.
My printer infpo is HPEnvy 5644 all in one

From your description, it does sound like the print service is stuck.
If that is the case, scroll down to section Print Queue / Print Service Reset
Sure, reinstalling the printer software might be useful -- all the references to the printer, the queue, and the print service must be removed during the "uninstall" of the software and the printer.
Finally, each system (computer) where the printer software is installed has its own Print Service and its own print queue. The printer does not run a print queue on the printer hardware.
Print Job Stuck in Queue
Cancel Print / Resume Print / Print Service Reset / Rebuild Queue / Temp Folder
----------------------
Cancel Print Job
On those printers where the option is supported,
If you catch the job quickly enough, print jobs can normally be cancelled on the printer.
The “cancel” button might be labeled as such or might present as a red X on the printer control screen.
NOTE: Where supported at all, it is normal for the “X” to display on the printer control panel only briefly.
What happens next?
Once the job is turned over to the print service, cancel the job in the print queue on the computer
----------------------------
Find the Print Job(s)
> > > Windows 11 < < <
Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners
Select Printer from list > Scroll down > Select More devices and printers settings
Continue in Control Panel > Devices and Printers
Next,
Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers
Double-Left-Click on your printer icon
See what’s printing
Click (or Right-Click) on the job > Cancel
Note: Exact wording varies
More Options…
> > > Windows 10 < < <
Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners > Click Open queue
Click (or Right-Click) on the job > Cancel
Settings > Devices > Right-Click Printers & Scanners > Pin to Start
Then

> > > Windows 11 < < <

Print Queue / Print Service Reset
After a print job has been accepted, it is turned over the Windows Print Services for completion.
When a job is "stuck in the queue", it is sometimes due to Print Services having hung, become stuck, or otherwise failing to properly complete the job.

At long last I have been able to get to grips with my printer queue problems.
With your info on printer information I went to one of the videos which was actually the HP support video.
I finally managed to get into my print Queue and fingers croised all is now well.
So thank you so much for your help. I really was going crazy trying to sort the problem myself.
Regards
Elizabeth
