just brought some X304 XL ink for my HP desk jet 2633 printer and i have brought this ink before and they worked but this time they are not registering with the printer any ideas of what to do i have already tried what they advise on line but still having the prioblem.

Hi,
Are those genuine HP ink cartridges?
Do you refer to a Black or Tri-Color cartridge, and is the ink alert icon is shown for the Black or Tri-Color symbol on the printer?
Additionally, I suggest making sure this is an updated cartridge, and compatible with your printer:

See the Warranty End Date listing for the affected cartridge, make sure its warranty end date is later than listed for the HP 304XL TRI-COLOR / HP 304XL BLACK, also check your printer serial number in the link, to check if it accepts older generation cartridges or not, if the printer serial number is rejected by the tool as too short, add a 0 in the end as the 11th character.

Yes they are the genuine ones and only brought today they are full of ink and it says on the printer that the colour one has no ink In it and the black one is a fake one which I do not understand why ‘this is happening
