HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3835 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a deskjet Ink Advantage 3835 printer. It prints from the mobile. It scans from the PC. It also prints the internal test page when printing from diagnostic tool but when I print any pdf, word document or any jpg file from my Pc it does not respond. There is nothing in the print queue. The printer just simply does not respond. Before few days it was working properly. What could be the issue?

Hello,

The printer may not be communicating properly on your wireless network and with the computer.

Please restart the printer, computer, and router for solve this problem.
  1. Turn the printer off, and then wait 10 seconds.
  2. Disconnect the printer power cord from the printer.
  3. Turn off the computer or the device you are trying to print from.
  4. Connect the printer power cord to the printer, and then turn on the printer.
  5. Disconnect the power cord from your wireless router, and then wait 30 seconds.
  6. Reconnect the power cord to the router.
     NOTE:
Wait until internet service is restored. Internet service is interrupted while the router is off.
  7. Wait at least 3 minutes, then turn on the computer.
  8. Try to print and scan.

If the issue continues, configure a new port as follows:

  1. On the keyboard, press the Windows logo key and the R key simultaneously. The Run window opens.
  2. Type control printers, then press Enter. The Devices and Printers window opens.
  3. Right-click on your printer icon, then click on Printer properties, click on the Ports tab, and click on Add Port....
  4. Select Standard TCP/IP Port and click New Port....
  5. Click Next, then enter the printer's IP address (e.g. 192.168.1.97) in the Printer Name or IP Address field and click Next.
  6. Once the port is added, click Finish and close all windows.
  7. Try to print.

I remain at your disposal in case of need.
