Hi @aggie14,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you're experiencing an issue with your HP ENVY 5530 printer prompting you to contact HP Instant Ink, there are a few steps you can take to resolve it.
- Check for Error Codes: Sometimes, error messages might include error codes that can help diagnose the issue more precisely. Look for any error codes or specific messages on the printer's display or on your computer.
- Verify Connection: Ensure that your printer is properly connected to your computer or network. If it's a wireless printer, check that it's connected to your Wi-Fi network.
- Restart Printer: Try turning off your printer, waiting a minute, and then turning it back on. Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve temporary issues.
- Check Ink Levels: If your printer is connected to HP Instant Ink, it might be notifying you that your ink levels are low. Check the ink levels on your printer or through the printer software on your computer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
