@Nikki3273, Hello and welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.
I understand your HP printer is not printing even though the print jobs are stuck in the queue. Let’s go through some steps to get your printer working again.
Restart Printer and Computer
- Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source.
- Restart your computer.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Check Printer Status
- Make sure the printer is set as default:
- Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers
- Right-click your printer > Set as default printer
- Ensure the printer is online:
- Right-click the printer > See what’s printing
- Click Printer in the top menu and uncheck Use Printer Offline if selected.
Clear the Print Queue
- In the same “See what’s printing” window:
- Click Printer > Cancel All Documents
- If that doesn’t work, manually restart the Print Spooler:
- Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
- Scroll to Print Spooler, right-click > Restart
Reinstall the Printer Driver
- Uninstall the printer from Devices and Printers
- Download the latest driver from HP official site: Official HP® Support
Check for Windows Updates
- Go to Settings > Windows Update and install any pending updates.
I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.
Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
