@Ray728, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding HP OfficeJet Pro 8620 e-All-in-One Printer Ink System Error!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
If your printer displays a "Print System Problem," "Problem with Ink System," or "Problem with Printer System" error message, follow these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
Step 1: Check the Ink Cartridges for Leaks
- Open the ink cartridge access door and wait until the carriage stops moving.
- Remove an ink cartridge and inspect it for leaks.
- If the cartridge is leaking, replace it with a new one.
- If the cartridge is not leaking, reinstall it back into its slot.
- Repeat the process for all the remaining cartridges.
- Close the cartridge access door.
Step 2: Reset the Printer
- Press the power button to turn off the printer. If it does not turn off, disconnect the power cord from the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the power source.
- Wait for 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into a wall outlet and the printer.
- Turn on the printer to complete the reset.
Step 3: Reseat the Printhead
- Open the cartridge access area and wait until the carriage stops moving.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord.
- Lift the carriage latch, slightly lift the printhead, lower it back into the carriage, and then lower the carriage latch until it stops.
- Close the cartridge access area.
- Reconnect the power cord to the printer.
Note: If the error message still displays, repeat the steps to reseat the printhead up to three times.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
