Once per day for the last few days, my HP Envy Photo 7155 prints several pages with weird messages.  Today's was:

Page 1 = CONNECT example.com:80 HTTP/1.1

Host: example.com:80

Connection:  keep-alive

Page 2 = diamond image

Page 3 = club image

This is wasting my paper and ink.

Thanks for any help!

Honestly sounds like a possible corrupt driver issue. I would recommend uninstalling the printer and reinstalling.

Thanks!  I called HP and they said there was an error with the port, which they fixed.  They also downloaded updates.  All fixed so far!

Galliemp, can you provide any further information on what HP support did?  I have a Brother monochrome laser printer doing the same thing. "Regular" print jobs work fine, but this random 1 or 2 line gibberish, or things like your opening post mentions are driving me nuts.

How are you connected to the printer? USB? Wireless? Ethernet?

They had me do a reset on the printer.
