Product: Envy photo 6200

Hi, 

 

my printer is the Envy photo 6200 all in one. I've been having trouble with it connecting to my laptop since we moved house. I've finally got it to connected but it's printing weird symbols just on the top of the page and then prints a load of blanks. Has anyone had the same issue and knows what it could be? or how to fix it?

99 percent of the time the situation your are describing is caused by a incompatible print driver being used or a stale corrupted print job being stuck in the queue of the computer.

 

Check the print driver to make sure it is the right one and clear the print queue following the instructions here https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-clear-printer-queue-in-windows-10/7e5ac...

Hi 

Thanks for your response. Your answer was very useful, but unfortunately it's not worked. I cleared the printer queue but it still printing weird symbols. I've had the printer since the start of this year and has been working fine, it's just started doing this last night but has been having trouble connecting to my laptop since I moved home. The compatibility was fine before, can it just go corrupted all of a sudden? How can I check the printer drive?
