Steps to Fix Error 19a0042

Step 1: Power Reset

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug it from the wall (not just the back).
  3. Wait 2 minutes.
  4. Plug it back in and turn it on.

This clears temporary memory glitches.


Step 2: Reseat the Printhead

  1. Open the printer access door.
  2. Gently remove the printhead and cartridges.
  3. Clean the electrical contacts with a lint-free cloth.
  4. Reinstall the printhead and cartridges securely.
