Hi @Twin22__unhappy,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding setup and connection issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

If it was previously used in an office, it likely needs a factory reset before setting it up again.

Refer to the steps on this link to restore factory defaults.

Reconnect Using HP Smart App:

Install the HP Smart App on your smartphone or PC.

Open the app and click Add Printer.

Follow on-screen instructions to connect to Wi-Fi.

If it still fails, use a USB cable temporarily to complete the setup.

HP OfficeJet 4650 – Error Code 0x0005f886

This is usually a firmware or hardware fault. Here’s what to try:

Power Reset:

Turn off the printer and unplug the power cable.

Wait for 60 seconds.

Plug it back in and turn it on.

Firmware Update (if accessible):

Kindly refer to this link to update your printer firmware.

I hope this helps.
