Hi @Fatcat1,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are getting the "6201922A" error on your HP OfficeJet 4650 may indicate a firmware or connectivity issue. Here are some steps to try resolving it:

Restart the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, wait for 1-2 minutes, and then plug it back in and turn it on. Retry printing the document.

Update the Firmware: Check if your printer firmware is up-to-date: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Go to the HP Software and Driver Downloads page.
  • Enter your printer model and check for any firmware updates. Download and install if available.

Clear Print Queue: Sometimes, a stuck print job can cause errors.

  • On your computer, open Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click your printer and select See what’s printing.
  • Cancel any pending print jobs, then try printing again.

Check for Driver Updates: Outdated drivers may cause unexpected errors.

  • Go to Device Manager > Printers, right-click your printer, and select Update driver.
  • Alternatively, download the latest driver from the HP website.

Reconnect the Printer: If using Wi-Fi, re-establish the connection.

  • For a Wi-Fi reset, go to Setup > Network Setup on the printer's control panel.
  • Reconnect to your Wi-Fi network, and ensure your computer is on the same network.

Print in a Different Format: Try printing a PDF or a different Word document to see if the issue persists. If it only occurs with one document, it may be document-specific.
