HP PageWide Pro 477dw Multifunction Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since last Monday I've encountered an unknown issue everytime I try to connect an external drive to the printer via USB interface next to the touchscreen.

No matter what I connect, USB stick or SSD drive, the screen suddenly get stuck in "reading..." for too long and the home menu suddenly pops up without reading it successfully. For years it worked just perfectly fine and now this.

Anyone knows how to fix this crap?

    • It will start nornally

Rememeber to take all loose part out as cartridges, USB, Network cable

Now the printer even refuses to shutdown properly, the screen is stuck with "Shutting down..." and after a few seconds the loading image is frozen too.
