My 8025e says there is a problem with the printhead.  Error code is 62.80.13. The cartridges are adequately full so it's not the ink.  I've used the Print & Scan Doctor to no avail.  Help!

Hi @wytpegasus,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I hear that your HP OfficeJet printer 8025e is having a printhead problem with Error code: 62.80.13.

For a printhead/ink system error, HP guidance recommends these actions:

  1. Turn the printer off, then back on.

  2. Make sure the printer is level using the “round object roll test” (place a small round object on top of the printer; if it rolls in most directions, level the printer).

  3. If available, open the printer’s Embedded Web Server (EWS) from a web browser and check which supplies show an error.

  4. Remove the cartridges/supplies. If any feel low or empty, replace them. Reinstall the ones that do not feel low or empty.

  5. If the error continues, replace all supplies with new genuine HP supplies.

I hope this will help.

Take care and have a good day.

I'm an HP Employee.
