printhead error 0xc19a0040

I have an HP OfficeJet Pro 8620.  Until today it was working fine. Suddenly it gives me an error code 0xc19a0040 = missing not detected or improperly installed print head.  I have tried each of these multiple times:  troubleshooter (worthless - says nothing wrong); turning off/on (no result); unplugging with printer on (no result); unplugging with printer off (no result), removing and replacing cartridges (this worked once and allowed a page to print but then error code appeared again and persists).  What else can I try?

I understand you are facing a printhead  error.

If you have already performed the steps from the document Error Indicates Faulty Printhead and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.
