Hi @miki123456789 ,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand you are facing an issue with printing in reverse colors (also known as negative or inverted printing), which is typically a setting issue. Here's how you can fix it:

Check Printer Settings in the Print Dialog:

  • Open the document you want to print.
  • Click on File > Print or press Ctrl+P.
  • In the Print dialog box, click on Properties or Preferences.
  • Look for any settings related to color options. Ensure that options like "Negative" or "Invert Colors" are not selected.

Check Printer Properties in Windows:

  • Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners.
  • Select your HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 from the list.
  • Click on Manage and then Printing Preferences.
  • Check the color settings and make sure the "Negative" or "Invert Colors" option is not enabled.

Check the Printer Driver Settings:

  • Sometimes, the issue might be with the printer driver.
  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers.
  • Right-click on your HP OfficeJet Pro 8028 and select Printing Preferences.
  • Review the color options and ensure that printing in negative or reverse colors is not selected.

Check the Document Settings:

  • Make sure the document you are printing does not have colors inverted.
  • Sometimes, the issue could be with the document itself, especially if it's a PDF or an image file. Open the document and check its properties.

Update Printer Firmware and Drivers: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Go to the HP Support website and check for any firmware or driver updates for your printer model.
  • Download and install the latest firmware and drivers if available.

Perform a Printer Reset:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for a minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.
  • Sometimes, a simple reset can fix various issues.

Check the Software Application:

  • Ensure that the application from which you are printing (e.g., Word, Adobe Reader) does not have any specific settings that are causing the issue.

I hope this helps.
