prints stuck in queue in error state

Officejet 4650
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Printer doesn't print, tried going through Virtual agent, none of the methods fixed it, tried print and scan doctor and it just says everything is fine except when I do the test print. When I try to print it just gets stuck in queue saying "error-printing"

To be able to assist you better, I'd like to know the following-

  • How is the printer connected to the computer?
  • Which application are you trying to print from?
  • Did you make any changes to the printer or the computer recently?
