HP DeskJet 2810e All-in-One Printer

Printer will not print although it will print test page . Diagnostic test does not show any problems . WiFi blue is solid blue . Have tried so many solutions unsuccessfully  and am completely baffled and frustrated

To resolve the issue where your HP DeskJet 2810e All-in-One Printer is not printing despite successfully printing a test page, follow these detailed steps:

Ensure Printer is Set as Default:

  • Go to 'Control Panel' --> 'Devices and Printers'.
  • Right-click on your HP DeskJet 2810e and select 'Set as Default Printer'.

Clear Print Queue:

  • Go to 'Control Panel' --> 'Devices and Printers'.
  • Double-click on your printer, then click 'See what's printing'.
  • Right-click on each pending job and click 'Cancel'.

Restart Print Spooler Service:

  • Type 'Services' in the Windows search bar and open the Services app.
  • Find 'Print Spooler' in the list, right-click on it, and select 'Restart'.

Update Printer Driver:

  • Go to the HP Support website and download the latest driver for your printer model.
  • Install the driver and restart your computer.

Run HP Print and Scan Doctor:

  • Download the HP Print and Scan Doctor from the HP website.
  • Run the tool and follow the on-screen instructions to diagnose and resolve print issues.

Check Wireless Connection:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer.
  • Print a network configuration report to verify connection details.

Reinstall Printer:

  • Go to 'Control Panel' --> 'Devices and Printers'.
  • Right-click on your HP DeskJet 2810e and select 'Remove device'.
  • Unplug the printer's power cable and reconnect it after a minute.
  • Add the printer again by following 'Add a printer or scanner' in 'Devices and Printers'.
