Hi, I'm getting an error displayed on my printer's screen, and it becomes irresponsive:
ERROR CODE 0XB865563E
I've tried unplugging for 10 minutes, removing and replacing the paper, removing and replacing the cartridges.
But when I power up the printer, I'm getting this error after about 1 minute.
What should I do?

@Vince12345, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding an error code!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
The 0XB865563E error on your HP OfficeJet 4930 printer typically indicates a hardware or firmware issue. Since you've already tried power cycling, checking the paper, and reseating the cartridges, follow these additional troubleshooting steps:
Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the printer and disconnect the power cable from the back of the printer.
- Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet and wait for at least 60 seconds.
- Press and hold the Power button on the printer for 15 seconds to drain residual power.
- Reconnect the power cable directly to the wall outlet (avoid power strips or surge protectors).
- Turn the printer back on and check if the error persists.
Check for Firmware Updates
If the printer turns on without the error, update its firmware:
- On your Windows 11 PC, go to HP Support and enter your printer model.
- Download and install the latest firmware update for your HP OfficeJet 4930.
Check the Cartridges
If the issue continues, it could be related to the ink cartridges:
- Remove all ink cartridges from the printer.
- Inspect the cartridge contacts (gold-colored chips) for dust or damage. Clean them with a dry lint-free cloth.
- Reinsert the cartridges and ensure they are properly seated.
- Restart the printer.
Try Starting Without Cartridges
- Remove the cartridges and restart the printer without them.
- If the printer powers up without the error, reinsert the cartridges one at a time to identify if a faulty cartridge is causing the issue.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!

Hi, I've trying everything you suggested, but without success. After about a minute the printer is displaying this error.
However, I've discovered that if I disable the WIFI, then the error will go away, and I'm then able to print using the USB connection.
So I would say there is something wrong with the WIFI hardware

@Vince12345, Thanks for your update!
Please try this step as well:
Reset the Printer’s Network Settings
- On the printer's control panel, go to Setup > Network Settings > Restore Network Defaults and confirm the reset.
- Restart the printer and try reconnecting to Wi-Fi.
Let me know how it goes!
