HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M455dn

My company recently purchased 7 of the M455dn. 

This only occurs when replacing the toner; the printer will go into an error state and will not print anything for about 10 mins until it's either restarted or you wait the 10 mins. The printers themselves show no errors. It's only on the Print server / Printer queue where it shows this error message.

The print server is hosted on Windows Server 2019. 

 

Any Thoughts?

Hi,

 

Try with the old UPD instead of the new smartUPD and check, there is also an option to disable BiDi, under ports that might solve the issue,

 

If you visit HP website and choose printer software, just search for HP UPD, and choose Pcl 6 v7 or similair. 

 

there is 2 versions, HP UPD, and HP sUPD, what you have now is sUPD (new more generic version) installed,

 

BiDi makes it possible for the unit to communicate with pc about alerts though.
