I moved house with my HP Smart Tank Plus 665 All-In-One printer and some ink leaked. Now I have an error reading: "Cartridge Problem: Remove and reinstall indicated cartridge . . . "
But there is no removable cartridge in this Smart Tank Plus. Maybe it is too smart for me or maybe just acting smart but I can't get to the bottom of the problem. I just tried again and now it tells me: "The indicated cartridges are not intended for use in this printer." Well, the ink is indeed correct and the message is obviously wrong. What can I do?

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you are getting cartridge error, I am glad to assist you.
Perform a power reset , Reset the printer to recover from printer errors or failures.
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware to install the latest updates

Thank you Sandy. In fact I managed to fix the problem. Firstly, I have had a lot of difficulty locating the online manual for the printer. Finally I found it through an indirect method. Then I saw that what the error message called 'the cartridge' is in fact the printer head. I found the head and removed and reinserted it but still didn't work. On removing it a second time I noticed that the back was covered with ink, exactly where the electrical contact is made at the back of the cartridge. I cleaned the cartridge and the internal connection of ink using paper towel and warm water and finally the printer is working perfectly.
So, what made the job difficult was 1. the difficulty in locating the manual online and 2. the terminology (cartridge being the printer head). It would be helpful to others if these small issues were resolved.
THanks
