HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 4645 e-All-in-One Printer

I bought an HP Deskjet 4645 printer from Saudi a few years ago. I took it and its cartridges(HP Ink Cartridge 650) with me when I came back to India.

 

In June this year, I decided to remove the cartridges as I knew I wouldn't be printing anything for some time and I didn't want the ink to dry off. I kept the cartridge in a plastic cover and the cover in the fridge. Yesterday(25 July,2020) when I put the cartridges back, an error message said that the Black cartridge was incompatible although there was no issue with colour cartridge. I had another spare black cartridge with me but the same error message appeared again. I tried wiping the copper circuit of the cartridges and cartridge holder with a damp cloth but the error still persists. I tried printing in Single Cartridge mode with just the colour cartridge but this time, an error message said that there is no toner in the printer. Please let me know if there are any quick fixes.

If you have already performed the steps from the document HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge and the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

 

Please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.
