macOS 10.15 Catalina

After replacing the black 950 setup cartridge with a new original 950XL the following message appeared:

"One or more cartridges appear to be damaged. Remove them and replace with new cartridges."

All 3 cartridges (M, C, Y) are original hp 951 and only a couple dozen pages old!

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I understand you are not able to print due to ink cartridge error. I'd be happy to assist you.

 

If you have tried the steps mentioned in this document and the issue persists, please reach out to the HP Support in your region regarding the service options as this is a hardware failure.

If you have tried the steps and the issue persists, it is a hardware failure. Kindly contact the HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer. 

 

If the printer is out of warranty, I suggest you upgrade the printer. You may visit Hp Store to check the available printers.
