HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M477fnw
macOS 12.0 Monterey

I cannot print to my HP Laserjet Pro MFP477fnw from my brand-new MacBook Pro with M1 Pro Silicon chip and running the latest MacOS Monterey 12.2.1. Every time I try to print a document, the "Filter failed" error message shows up and the printer is "paused". I have tried hundred different ways to get it to work, and unfortunately there is no real solution out there from HP's side. I also downloaded the HP Smart application, but that has not helped either. HP Firmware Update cannot be installed becauseMacOS Safari does not get a valid certificate from HP to guarantee there is no malware enbedded. It is a real pain, and I need help!

I was able to solve this problem by disabling the IPV6 on the HP LaserJet printer directly. All of a sudden the jobs came out without problem.
