HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M653dn

I just replaced the collection unit, transfer belt, maintenance kit, and fuser kit in our printer. Everything else is fine. Printer recognized and reset low settings to "OK" on all parts except the fuser kit. Printer says "Incompatible Fuser Kit". I tried restarting it, unplugging it and letting it sit off for a while, factory reset but it said it couldn't. I even tried reinstalling the old low fuser kit and I still get the same message of "Incompatible Fuser Kit".

You cannot install a 220v fuser in a 110v machine. These printers are not universal voltage devices.

When you swapped the fuser back did you have the unit powered off? Fuser errors will not clear without a power cycle.

When you click the "resolve button" the message says to order replacement fuser kit part numbers of20230329_115029.jpg 110V or 220V.

I will admit that that screen might be a little confusing, but trust me only the 110V unit will work in your printer.
