I want to clean the printhead, and all of a sudden I get that error. No matter what I've done (reset it, unplug and replug cables, replace cartridges, fix the u-shaped piece on the microchip), it still shows that error. What do I do now?

I understand that you are facing issues with your HP Photosmart 6520 e-All-in-One Printer wherein you get a message "Ink cartridge door open”.
This issue could occur if the cartridge door sensor is damaged.
