I’m having the exact same problem. I get ink automatically mailed to me by HP and both cartridges caused the same error. Purchased some ink from Walmart and still got the same issue.

If you have used the new set of ink cartridges in the printer and have the same error, this could be a hardware issue with the printer.

Make sure you have tried the steps mentioned in this document - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge.

 

If the error persists, please contact the Instant Ink team for replacement/service options of the printer. the contact information can be found on the Instant Ink home page.
