II have tried to follow the instructions of HP Support instrcution video "replacing a printhead/ HP Smart Tank wireless Plus 570 printers". But after having pushed the print button for 3 seconds the carriage did not move to the middle. Instead it stayed at the left side. Does any one how to fix this problem?

Hi @Matthijs1965 ,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If the carriage is not moving to the middle as expected when replacing the printhead on your HP Smart Tank Plus 570 printer, there are a few troubleshooting steps you can try:
Check for Obstructions: Ensure that there are no obstructions or foreign objects blocking the movement of the carriage. Open the printer cover and look for any obstacles that may be preventing the carriage from moving.
Power Cycle the Printer: Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and wait for a few minutes. Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer. Try initiating the printhead replacement process again.
Manually Move the Carriage: If the carriage is still stuck on the left side, you can try gently moving it to the center by hand. Be cautious and gentle to avoid any damage to the printer.
Update Firmware: Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. Visit the HP website and check for any available firmware updates for your printer model. If an update is available, follow the instructions to update the firmware.
Perform a Hard Reset: Turn off the printer, unplug the power cord, and disconnect any other cables. Wait for a few minutes, then plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.-
