Hi @nattttttae,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the error code OXB8093B62 on your HP OfficeJet 8015e All-in-One Printer, combined with a blinking screen and inability to return to the home screen, may indicate a firmware or communication issue.

Here's a series of steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Step 1: Power Reset the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer by pressing the power button.
  2. Unplug the power cable from the printer and the wall outlet.
  3. Wait for 60 seconds.
  4. Plug the power cable back into the printer and the wall outlet.
  5. Turn the printer back on and see if the blinking stops and if you can access the home screen.

Step 2: Update the Printer Firmware Update the firmware on an HP printer

Since this issue may be related to firmware, updating it can often fix such errors.

  1. Go to HP's support site and check if a firmware update is available for your printer model.
  2. Download and install the firmware update using your Windows 11 PC. You can also use the HP Smart app to check for updates.
  3. Restart the printer after the update.

Step 3: Check for Driver Updates

  1. Open the Device Manager on your PC.
  2. Under Print queues, locate your HP OfficeJet printer.
  3. Right-click on it and select Update driver.
  4. Follow the instructions to install any new driver updates.

Step 4: Check for Network Connectivity Issues

Sometimes, scanning errors are due to network issues.

  1. Ensure that both your printer and PC are connected to the same WiFi network.
  2. Reconnect the printer to WiFi by using the HP Smart app if necessary.

Step 5: Factory Reset the Printer (Last Resort)

If the issue persists and you can't access the home screen:

  1. On the printer, hold down the power button and the cancel button together for 10-15 seconds.
  2. This should initiate a factory reset, restoring your printer to its default settings.

Note: A factory reset will remove any custom settings on the printer (WiFi settings, etc.).

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
