I Understand you need help with the Instant Ink Subscription and I would love to help,
however, I need more information to help your cause,
Your printer is capable of Instant Ink and there are a couple ways to get around this.
First, your printer is capable of printing in single-cartridge mode. Do you have enough ink in one of the cartridges to be able to print off the information page? Please remove the empty cartridge and try again.
I recommend that you go to 123.hp.com/setup and download the software for your printer (even if you have already done this previously). The first part of the setup will take you through the Instant Ink enrollment and I should automatically add the printer for you without needing to print off the Information Page (to get the claim code).
Otherwise, try these steps:
1. Open your internet browser and enter the printer's IP address in the address bar.
2. Go to the Web Services tab
3. Click on the setup option (left side of the screen)
4. Click on the continue option (bottom right side of the screen)
5. Scroll down the page and confirm they have read the information and click on the continue option.
6. If the process does not automatically go to the next page - check to see if the POP up blocker is turned on. Either turn off the POP-up blocker momentarily or if you hold the Ctrl (control) button down and click on the 'Continue' option again, it should bypass the POP-up blocker.
After you turn on Web Services, wait for the printer to print the Get the Most out of Your Printer or Important Printer Setup Instructions page. Occasionally there is a delay when printing the information page. If the page does not print after 5 to 10 minutes, turn off Web Services, and then turn on Web Services again, to obtain a new information page. The information page contains information about Web Services, and includes the printer claim code required to add your printer on HP Connected.
NOTE:
The printer claim code is valid for 48 hours. If the code expires, repeat these steps to get a new code.
If you turned on Web Services and did not customized the printer email address, the claim code is the numbers and letters before @hpeprint.com.
- On your printer control panel, touch or press the HP ePrint
icon or button. - If your printer control panel does not have an HP ePrint button or icon, navigate to the Web Services Setup, Network Setup, or Wireless Settings to open the Web Services menu, depending on your printer model.
- A Web Services Summary page might open and display the current HP ePrint email address of the printer, or you might have the option to print a report that contains the printer email address, depending on your printer model.
Also, try this:
Look in the printer's control panel in the Network section for "Restore Network Defaults" (or similar text).
This will let you start the connection process again.
To get the claim code, accordingly.
