All of a sudden the printing changed format. Instead of printing the page as I saw it it printed all the information in the top left hand corner only with print too small to reat. It came out about the size of a deck of cards on full page size of non legal paler.

The printer is unaware of what it is printing.

The size of the output, including the fonts, is included in the software / application you are using to view and submit the job to the printer.

We do not know what you are doing or which program / software you are using.

There are a few places this could "go sideways" (end up wrong), including...

Months ago - and Long since fixed - Windows Mail had a problem printing emails.

IF this is your situation, run Windows Updates to make sure your Windows Mail is OK.

If you are printing from your browser, it is possible you accidentally set the Scale (percentage of 100%) to a tiny percentage or even "zero".  Scale is one of the "Settings" (or "Advanced Settings) in Settings > Print

Similar to losing track of the Print settings in the Web Browser,

If you set the Print Size to a tiny fraction of 100% and leave it that way in your Print Settings or Preferences, the next job might use the "old" (previous) settings and your print will be smaller than expected.

I was able to resolve the issue by un-installing and re-installing the software. I do not know if this is the only solution but it worked for me on my HP Desk Jet 2132.

Excellent.

Thanks for letting us know it is fixed.

For those reading:

Reinstalling is a common solution to a variety of issues, including random print size problems that do not respond to the more obvious, for example, change the Scale / settings.

Reinstalling can work simply because it is oft the case that "something" in the File System changes and messes with the printer software.

Windows Updates, for example, are notorious for fixing the file system and inadvertently upsetting other installed software, including printer drivers.  Updates are not bad,  the results are simply a consequence of having things intertwined in the Operating System.

Stay Safe.
