the ink in my printer is not printing out, the ink is brand new

I have an hp deskjet 3000 printer, I just bought ink yesterday and it's not printing anything out on the paper

I see that after replacing the cartridges, you are unable to print. Cleaning the cartridges resolves many print quality issues. Use an automated tool to clean the cartridges from the printer software. 

Click the Windows icon (), click All Programs, click HP, click the folder for your printer, and then click the icon for your printer (). The printer software opens.

NOTE: 

You can also open the printer software from your computer desktop: double-click the icon for your printer ().
