Hi @AbdulRehman1,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If a small piece of paper is stuck in your HP printer, it can cause printing issues. Here are steps you can take to safely remove the paper and hopefully resolve the problem.

  • Turn off the printer: Always start by turning off the printer to prevent any further damage.
  • Open the printer cover: Depending on your HP printer model, you'll need to open the front or rear cover to access the paper path.
  • Locate the stuck paper: Carefully inspect the paper path and look for any small pieces of paper that may be stuck. Use a flashlight if necessary to get a better view.
  • Use tweezers or pliers: If you can see the piece of paper, gently try to grasp it with tweezers or pliers. Be very careful not to tear the paper or damage any internal components.
  • Remove the paper: Slowly and carefully pull the paper out of the printer. Try to remove it in the direction it would normally feed through the printer.
  • Check for remaining debris: After removing the stuck paper, thoroughly check the paper path and any rollers for any remaining debris or torn pieces of paper. Use compressed air or a soft brush to clean out any dust or debris.
  • Close the printer cover: Once you're sure there are no more obstructions, close the printer cover securely.
  • Turn on the printer: Turn the printer back on and try printing a test page to see if the issue has been resolved.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
